If it's a light bite you fancy or an evening out, you’ll feel at home with the traditional British fayre served at the Rose and Crown. You can dine in our rustic charming bar area, our beautiful dining room or in our garden (well, maybe not at this time of the year..); the menus offered are the same with all the British pub favourites available as well as our ever changing specials boards. Our great kitchen team works tirelessly to bring you a completely fresh home cooked menu with something for all tastes. We strive to use the best local produce to ensure freshness. Strong emphasis is always placed on seasonal changes and there is always a steak option and a choice of interesting locally-sourced game dishes. Senior Citizens Lunchtime Specials on Tuesdays and Thursdays 12.00pm to 3.00pm Sunday Roasts - Beef or Pork served with new and roast potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and traditional homemade gravy. Large £6.50, Small £5.95

And it’s not all about the food - Real Ales conditioned to perfection, including St Austell Tribute and Wychwood Hobgoblin; cold, crisp lagers like Grolsch, Becks Vier, and Carling Extra Cold; locals’ favourite Stowford Press Cider (produced down the road) and stalwart of most pubs Guinness Extra Cold... all served with a smile!
